Testimonials

"Our son was still non-verbal at 18 months so we started sessions with Lorraine at New Horizons. With only a few sessions in, I have seen such a difference in my sons problem solving skills and communication! Lorraine has not only helped us set appropriate goals for our son but also has shown us how to reach them! We are so thankful for her and all the time she has invested into helping our son meet his milestones!

Meet the Team

Do you think your child may be dealing with a common developmental delay?

Watching an infant grow into a toddler is a truly magical journey! Each day brings new discoveries and milestones, from the first smile to those wobbly first steps. During these early years, children explore their world through play, developing essential skills like language, motor abilities, and social connections.  Every child is a unique masterpiece, and we all reach our milestones in our own special way. Early intervention can make a world of difference for those facing delays in speech, motor skills, social interactions, self-help, and cognitive development. Together, we can help every child shine at their own pace!"

Creating a Brighter Future for Every Child

Every day, we’re proud to support children across South Carolina facing developmental delays and disabilities. Our early intervention services, including service coordination and family training, empower families and help kids thrive. Together, we’re building brighter futures!

Service Coordination

Trying to figure out where to go to get the services your child needs can be confusing and overwhelming.  As a service coordinator, we are here to make the process a lot easier for families.

Service coordinators work closely with families to assess their child’s needs and connect them with appropriate services, such as early intervention, therapy, and educational resources. The coordinators serve as advocates for families, guiding them through the process and ensuring that they receive the necessary support.

Family Training

Our highly qualified and experiences instructors work directly with you and your family to create individualized learning plans that incorporate play-based and everyday activities. These plans are aimed at enhancing your child's development in natural settings, such as the home or community.

Our goal is to help families grow together and build a better future together.
